TTD performs Bhoomi Pooja to construct Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Jammu

The priests of Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam (TTD) has performed the bhoomi Pooja for the construction of temple dedicated to Lord Venkateswara in Jammu today (13-June). This ritual attended by Hon’ble Lt Governor of J&K  Shri Manoj Sinha, Union Ministers Shri Jitendra Singh and Shri Kishan Reddy and Sri Ram Madhav National Executive member of Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh.

TTD Board Chairman Shri Subba Reddy and EO Shri Jawahar Reddy came with a group of priests from Tirumala to perform the ritual in Srinagar.

Couple of years ago, this project was initiated by TTD and promised to complete the temple with Rs 27 Cr investment in next 18 months in the first phase and subsequently add a medical project and Ved Pathashala in the second phase.

In April, Jammu and Kashmir administrative council allotted the land to TTD that governs Lord Venkateswara’s shrine in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirumala, to build a temple.
